IMPORTANT - REFERRAL INFORMATION

Since the Cyberattack in mid May, referrals done possibly from the mid to end of April have not been processed . If you are have been waiting for a referral since this time, please contact the surgery and speak to one of the medical secretaries. The surgery has been working to try and locate and process as many of the referrals as possible.

PATIENT ONLINE ACCESS AND ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING  - Open Mornings

We are holding 'open mornings' for patient online access registrations every morning from 9am to 12 noon between the 19th and 23rd June. If you would like to register for online services to be able to book/cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions or view your medical records, please come in to the surgery during the open mornings and the NHS England and surgery staff will be pleased to help. If you are having any problems with online access, please also feel free to come in and have a chat to see if we can sort it out! The staff will also give you advice about the Electronic Prescribing Service.

 

 

General Information

 

 

Patients on repeat medication are issued with a list of these items on the tear-off slip attached to the right side of the actual (green) prescription.

Once ordered, please allow 48 hours before collecting your prescription.

If a prescription is required early due to holidays, please make this clear by adding a note on the paper slip, or in the 'Other Details' box when ordering online. If no details are entered your order will be queried, and your prescription will be delayed.

Your doctor will ask to see you periodically to review your repeat medication.

How to order Repeat Prescriptions

There are several ways you can order repeat medication -

 

1) Using the paper slip -

Tick those items needed and drop the slip into the box at reception (or through our letterbox when we're closed), or post it to us (we can send your prescription to you as well if you enclose a stamped addressed envelope).

 

2) Online - Using Emis Patient Access Services -

Information is available on the Patient Online Services page. You must register with the service before being able to order a repeat prescription.
 

3) The telephone prescription line available Monday to Friday 9am to 12 noon for prescription orders and queries. Telephone 01772 423555 and press the prescription option.

4) Fax your request to us on 01772 623 878.

 

5) And finally, you can contact your usual chemist and they can order on your behalf.

 

 

Please note that if you use a collection or delivery service through a chemist, you should inform the chemist and ourselves each time you order; Worden Medical Centre is happy to facilitate, but is not responsible for the provision of these services.
